spring break 09.

A little late, but better late then never right? If anyone knows me I am a horrible picture taker, my goal was to take a lot of pictures and look at how many I ended up with. Nellie has some from the beach that I need to get but I am pathetic I didn't get any pictures at all. But last week brandt, nellie and the girls were nice enough to let me intrude on their little family vacation to disneyland and kierra's competition. It was definitely nice to not just stay in st. george for the weekend and feel like I had a break. I didn't even take one ounce of homework (that definitely hit me when I got back though). We left thursday morning around 5 am, and drove straight to Huntington beach, or as kavs would say, humington beach. It was cloudy and I stayed in sweats the whole time and just relaxed. Later that night we all realized we got alot more sun than we had thought. We spent friday and saturday at disneyland and california adventure. The lines were crazy and I actually ran into a lot of people that I knew. It was a fun trip, we ate (alot), went to bed early and woke up early and definitely had some funny things happen. I still can't get over how old the girls are now. I swear they should still be in like elementary school but they sure aren't. I guess that is why I am now finishing up my 2nd year of college, wow. But I'm glad I got to go with them this year because as we all get older who knows when it would ever work out again. So thanks again guys, I had a blast.

I'm counting down the days until this... It couldn't come any faster!

creeper.

I just thought that I would share my past 2 days with everyone.

I guess this all started last semester, I had a class with this kid and we exchanged numbers for school purposes. Sometimes he chose to use it for other purposes and quite often, which is fine but sometimes I just didn't text back because he would ask and say the weirdest things. So 2 nights ago I get a text from this kid and it reads "who is this? i found this phone and i need to know who it belongs too?" My immediate thought at midnight is ok seriously, the first thing you do when you find a lost phone is go clear to the end of the alphabet and choose the weirdest name possible. I dont think so, the first person would be mom, dad, home, etc those all come before T. I blew the text off and went back to bed. DIdnt think much of it the next day except for the fact that, that is a pretty weird way to get someone to text back.

Well last night about the same time I get another text and it read "i need to know whos phone this is." Ok seriously again, dont ya think that after i didnt respond the night before that maybe you should stop or if it is real try someone else in the phone. This kid has alot of friends someone in the phone would respond to him and who texts anyways. If you were really trying to find whos phone it was freakin call people. Anyways I blew the text off, an hour later, I get 2 private missed calls. Who knows if its connected but I didnt want to answer and it had me a little freaked out.

This morning after I get ready for school I walk out to my car, and see a note on my windshield. It read, "hey girl, call me if you want a fun time" and they left their phone number. I highly doubt that all of this is connected but it is still kind of creepy.

Just thought I would share, hopefully it all stops!

Road Trip.

PICTURE OVERLOAD! I am so sorry that there are so many pictures and I know they are all on Karlys blog but I had to put them on here also. I will start with last weekend because I never posted about that. Last weekend a bunch of girls went to the movie Bride Wars and can I just tell you that it is amazing! I absolutely loved it, it even had me in tears but I tried to hide that part! It was seriously so good I want to see it again and again. After Bride Wars we went to a concert at the Velour. I had never been to a concert there or heard the band we were going to listen too but it ended up being a really fun night with the girls.

This last week was definitely needed. Ok I know we started school like last week but I still was ready for a break. I dont know why but I cant get in the swing of things and dig into school and homework. My body and brain shut down at christmas and I am having a hard time getting it started again. But its coming back slowing but surely.

Thursday night karly, kourtney and I headed to Brian Head, we watched a movie and crashed. We woke up and actually did some homework and just relaxed. Karli came up that afternoon and we all decided to go night skiing. It was 30 dollars for a pass and for a rental so we decided it would be fun to go and I am so glad we did. Everyone else brought snow clothes and me for some reason did not. Luckily the staples have extra clothes at their condo so they were kind enough to let me borrow some. My pants were the best! They came right above my ankles and I couldnt do the button up! The lady sizing my boots even laughed because they were totally floods and wouldnt go over my boots. But they were perfect and we had a blast snowboarding. I dont think I have been since I was a sophomore in high school. I was definitely rusty and I HATE the lift but it was so much fun!
The rest of the girls came up friday night and we all chatted and watched movies and went to bed. The next morning some of the girls went tubing. Not including myself, its a long story but it was still fun! ha. Then we headed for Vegas. We stayed at Kourtneys beautiful house and had dinner with her amazing family. She was so nice for letting us stay there and her parents were awesome for taking care of us! We went to dinner, watched the fountains, shopped (of course) and tried to get some sleep! Sunday we drove to the good ol st. george I said hi to my parents and then we all went to karlys for the night. My mom came up to hang out for a bit and learn how to make Anns amazing chocolate chips cookies because I always get so mad that they dont turn out like Anns. Also, somehow not sure why Jessie decided my name was Seychel so that is currently my new nickname. I love it! I laugh everytime I hear someone call me Seychel. I get alot of nicknames but that is one I have never heard and I love it! Thanks Jess for the sweet nickname!

Overall the weekend was amazing. I had a blast and I had so much fun with all the girls. They were such a fun group of girls and I swear it hasnt even been 24 hours and I miss them already. We went from spending every waking second together for a few days and now were back to reality. Oh well, I guess we will just have to plan another road trip with all of us again!

christmas break.

Christmas Break was wonderful. It was nice because I got to go home for almost 2 weeks. Im job was so great to let me work from home a few days because of the weather so I was able to spend more time with my family. The tuesday before christmas the "soul sistas" planned to get together and go to dinner and chat at karlys because we hadnt seen eachother in forever. The soul sistas are all the girls i went on my senior trip with. It was so fun to get back together with everyone and see how much we have all changed. It was a blast just sitting around talking and catching up we definitely need to do it more often.

Christmas Eve we went to my Grandmas house for the usual christmas eve dinner and santa. Some reason this year i lucked out and everyone i think but me had to sit on santas lap thats why i have pictures of everyone else but no myself. I also spent christmas eve night with the girls, kali, kierra, and kaveri. Its not too much fun to be the only one at home and wake up at 11 by yourself, I was sad TJ and Emily couldnt be with us this christmas so hopefully they will next year. So i decided to stay with them because it would be more fun and get up at 6. Nellie was nice enough to let me intrude on their christmas! Santa even brought me a present at their house i cant believe he found me there. ha. I got a remote control helicopter its pretty sweet. My roommates seemed to get a kick out of me when i was flying it around the apartment running into all the walls. So thanks again Nellie for that and letting me stay over on christmas eve.

As for now I am back at work and school just busy as ever. My classes seem tough but i have two design classes that will definitely be time consuming but atleast its something i love to do!

Saturday Project.

This is what happens when I have no school, no work and no roommates! I find projects for myself! Yes I know they are empty. I have to admit I am probably the worst picture taker ever. Nellie and the girls were up here last weekend and I didn't get one picture, I still can't believe how old they are, I should be taking pictures because I swear like next year there going to be my age. I also went to Deer Valley this weekend with my roommate Whitney and her family for her birthday and again didn't take a picture! I'm horrible! So hopefully over christmas break I will find a good time to take some pictures and be able to fill these empty frames...I know ill just take a picture by my self on christmas looking at my presents that I picked out myself because my mom told me she wasn't even going to wrap them this year! haha oh well christmas will still be wonderful because I am officially done with finals and have NOTHING to do. Expect go to work but I really enjoy my job so its not really work!
